#3142 – A 2.2 x 1.4 x 1.2-inch specimen of golden yellow cubic Fluorite from the Sidi Said Mine, Midelt, Morocco.  The fluorite from the Sidi Said Mine in Midelt, Morocco, is a hydrothermal vein deposit. The crystals formed when hot, mineral-laden fluids circulated through faults and fractures in the host rock, precipitating fluorite along with other minerals like quartz and barite.
