#3213 – A 2 x 1.5 x .5 -inch mineral specimen of honey yellow Barite with lustrous glassy crystals up to 1-inch on edge. The locale for this specimen is the Xiefang Mine, Ruijin County, Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, China. This mine is known for producing rich green hues of fluorite and toffee-colored barite, which have reached collectors. The mine’s 10-km long vein system is noted for its high-quality barite deposits, which include exhalative chemical sediments, fracture-controlled and replacement.
