Description

#3035 – A .8 x .71 x .63 – inch green Aquamarine Beryl with Muscovite from Nagar, Pakistan.  This crystal is very gemmy and completely terminated.  Aquamarine with muscovite from Nagar, Pakistan, originated in granitic pegmatites formed by beryllium-rich magmatic and hydrothermal fluids within the Karakoram Range. These pegmatites are associated with the Iskere metamorphic complex, and the crystals grew in cavities or veins over millions of years, with the muscovite forming alongside the aquamarine beryl.
