Description

#3208 – A 3 x 2.75 x 2 -inch mineral specimen from the Haunted Ridge Mine, Cadet, Missouri, featuring white/tan crystalline druzy Quartz in stalactitical growths with minor brown Limonite.  The druzy quartz, agate, and barite deposits in the Potosi, Missouri area formed through a process of hydrothermal mineralization and subsequent chemical weathering within the Cambrian-age Potosi and Eminence dolomite bedrock.
